This month has already been a wild ride — and it’s just getting started. Earlier this month, I made a trip to San Fran to visit friends and celebrate my birthday. Yes, my birthday might have been last month, but it’s never too late to party and bar hope with awesome people. I am not exaggerating when I say I had an absolute blast and feel extremely lucky to have those SF peeps in my life. So much so even, that I am trying to make the SF move ASAP after my trip to Chile.
So here I am: At an airport bar, downing a bacon cheeseburger, drinking some Merlot wine, and waiting around my already late plane. These are my last moments stateside before I embark, on what may be, a life changing trip. I will be in Chile for a little over 2 months to visit my dad, and take a course to get certified to teach English as a second language in other countries. I have a fantasy, if you will, to travel the world and live in different countries one year at a time. One day I thought, “what better way to make this happen, than to actually live in work at each of them for a year?” So I signed up for a course, told my father (who paid it for me– thanks dad!), and got ready to go.
Now, I’m not sure how I will feel about this when I’m done. I might want to really do this and stay in Chile, or go to South Korea, or Japan. I might just want to go back home and try to figure out how to get my butt to San Fran. But one thing I know for sure, is that I will have a blast. All I can think about is all the new things I will see, all the new people I will meet, and all the pictures I will take.
What can you expect from me in these months? Lots of pictures of the awesome places I will visit.
For now, feel free to check out my pictures from my SF trip — they are AWESOME.
